Shayaa and I met through a mutual friend in 2009. I was a little nervous at first because of the age difference but that would soon change. Shayaa was the perfect gentlemen ( from Southern Ave), this was different. Our first date was on my birthday (11/19 ) at Kobe's Steakhouse "on that same day years later" this would also be the day he proposed. Although he does not always remember; "Precious" was the first movie we watched together, I cried the entire time. He has made me feel safe, comfortable, and free since day one. Shayaa and I took time to learn, build, and grow together.
