When is the RSVP deadline?

If we RSVP'ed last year do we do it again?

Answer

Yes, due to postponement, all prior RSVP counts were reset for our new date.

How do we coordinate for the wedding?

Answer

Our Coordinator is: Dana Johnson his contact information is phone: (404) 840-7100 or by email: DanaJohnson(weddingswithdana.com) He will need your contact information to specify what the guest role will be as far as getting to the ceremony on time. Please contact him 14 days prior to your arrival to provide him with your arrival/departure times, lodging, and contact information in order to keep track of and coordinate guests accordingly for the Day Of.

Am I required to stay at the hotel?

Answer

As our guest, we tried our best to accommodate to your needs as far as making sure you do not need to rent vehicles to and from attractions, restaurants and the venue, which is why we do prefer that you do stay at the hotel. This allows for easy pick up/drop off to and from the venue as my Coordinator, Dana will be in charge of making sure guest arrive/depart safely and on time to the venue. Transportation to and from the venue will be available by Trolley service at the hotel.

Reserving hotel rooms

Answer

Go to Travel page of website. Click View at the bottom of page. Choose the dates then choose Special Rates to add Group code "FOY", close then select Check Room & Rates and prices should adjust. A credit card to hold the room will be needed but not charged until the day you arrive. If you have trouble please call the hotel to book before 5/11/21.

How long should I stay?

Answer

The hotel block and discount can be used as soon as you arrive through Saturday 6/12/2021. Please let us know your travel dates so that the discount will apply to your room. There is a slight price increase if guest decide to stay Saturday night. For more details, please call the hotel for more information listed on the Travel page.

What about transportation?

Answer

We recommend taking an Uber from the airport to the hotel as everything is centrally located downtown. However transportation will be provided from the hotel to the wedding venue through Old Savannah Trolley Services. Check out the Downtowner App for free rides in downtown Savannah.

Is the ceremony/reception outside or inside?

Answer

The entire event will be held outside throughout the venue. If the weather does not permit, then the venue is prepared to make arrangements for the event to take place inside.

What should I wear?

Answer

We recommend comfy, classy attire given it will most likely be warm weather. We do not recommend many layers.

Covid-19 Testing

Answer

There is no mandatory testing requirement but by all means for your safety to travel and the safety of others, feel free to get tested prior to attending.
