Dating apps aren’t all bad. Marquita had sworn off the use of dating apps but after her Bakersfield, California roommate shared her fun dating stories from the apps, Marquita decided to try her luck. Emmanuel never used a dating app before and after his friend convinced him to try it out, he matched with Marquita all the way in Bakersfield. They initially connected on the fact that they were both Registered Nurses. Emmanuel drove 2 hours to Bakersfield to meet Marquita and take her out on their first date in May 2022 and the rest is history….. February 2024- Emmanuel asked Marquita’s parents for her hand in marriage March 3rd 2024 Emmanuel asked Marquita to be his Wife They are excited to embark on this new adventure called marriage!
