Our love story began in 2015 at Richwood High School, when we were just two teenagers who had no idea that we were about to meet the person we would spend the rest of our lives with. Jaewon was only fifteen years old and Marquisha was seventeen, but from the moment we met, something about our connection felt special. What started as young love quickly grew into something deeper, something that would shape the course of both of our lives. From those early high school days, we have truly been inseparable. We experienced some of life’s biggest milestones side by side, growing up together through the transitions of high school and college. During those years, our relationship continued to mature as we learned how to support each other’s dreams, overcome challenges, and celebrate every victory together. What began as two young people simply enjoying each other’s company slowly became the foundation of a lifelong partnership. As the years passed, our lives became more intertwined not only with each other but also with the families who helped shape us into the people we are today. Our relationship brought together two families who embraced our love and supported our journey from the very beginning. In 2021, our greatest blessing arrived when we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Marleigh, into the world. Becoming parents together deepened our bond in ways we never could have imagined. Shortly after, we made the decision to move to Dallas, Texas to begin a new chapter of our lives. That move marked the start of building the future we had always dreamed of, both personally and professionally. Since then, we have pursued our goals individually and together, building businesses, creating opportunities, and continuing to grow not only as partners but as individuals. Through every step of the journey, our commitment to each other has remained the same. For ten consecutive years we have supported one another’s visions, lifted each other during difficult moments, and celebrated every accomplishment as a team. Over the years, many people have asked us how two people who met so young were able to build such a strong life together. Our answer is always simple. It truly does not feel like it has been over ten years. When you are with the person meant for you, time seems to move differently. Our journey has been guided by faith, patience, forgiveness, and an abundance of love. Prayer has strengthened us, challenges have taught us, and love has carried us through every season. On June 13th 2026 we will celebrate not just the day we say “I do,” but the decade of love, growth, and partnership that brought us here. Our story is still being written, but one thing has always been certain. Together, we have built a life rooted in faith, family, and unwavering love. This is our story.
