A day at the Pillars After church service, I mentioned that I was going to the Market at the Pillars. We arrive at the venue at 3pm for a day of shopping with the local vendors. We begin to visit the vendors outdoors and taste many samples from each vendor. Upon our journey of sampling these tasty treats, we make our way indoors where a sweet aroma greeted us. There was a vendor who bakes delicious gluten free treats and cakes. As we're walking back to our vehicles we notice a food truck and we were both still hungry. We both decided to try something new. He never had fried gator bites before and I've never had fried oreos. Little did we know, this was only the beginning of many dates and adventures together.
Watching the sunset on Orange Beach She had to work an event in Orange Beach and asked me to book a hotel room as we have done before. This time was different though, she had no idea that the surprise of a lifetime was awaiting later that day. Around 4:00pm she finished working and we went to get some food. As time flies by, we begin to make our way down to the beach with our beach towels to watch the sunset. The weather was nice and the sunset was beautiful. I mount my phone and we begin to take pictures on the beach. Those pictures soon turned into videos. As I'm trying to get past the nerves, I start to ask her questions but she literally had a song to every question I would ask. After the singing started to stop I asked her, "How much do you love me?" and she responded back in a little kid voice stretching her arms wide saying, "This much". Finally that led into me asking, " Will you marry me?". At that moment she had one of the biggest smiles ever and she said, "Yes!".
