It was fate, God definitely orchestrated this meeting. There's a funny controversy between friends, regarding our initial meeting! However, from my recollection the story goes like this. My friend, Veronica, decided to get me out of the house to cheer me up. I'm so grateful she did! As we walked into the party, we were immediately met by her friend and his brother. Staring out of the corner of my eye; I was immediately amused with the how this statues gentleman was the life of the party. He later leaned over and stated to my friend," I thought you didn't have any friends". We all laughed! Unbeknownst to me the brother, Ray Miller, would soon become the love of my life. I was a little reserved to date again nevertheless, he broke down those barriers and made me feel absolutely secure. From that day on we've never stopped talking, laughing sharing and being best friends. This timely meeting restored my faith in Love and we are both forever grateful to our friends.

This day was amazing in more than one way. I was planning a special birthday party for my Honey and he was secretly planning a bigger surprise for me. We are both Leo's, and my birthday had just passed. He made my day remarkable and I wanted him to know just how much he meant to me, With all of our friends and family in attendance we laughed and celebrated. When it was time to sing "Happy Birthday," I asked his mother if she would do me the honor of blessing us with her beautiful voice. I had no idea, she knew what would coming next! He asked me if I would please come stand next to him as she sang. Without hesitation, I quickly stood next to him as he held my hand tight. She began to sing and suddenly stopped midway through. Ray gently grabbed my face and began to hug me and whisper in my ear. I was confused this was his special moment! Nevertheless, I went along with it, because he's always doing something funny. He then told me what I meant to him as he whispered "You are my gift", and then asked me to marry him. I was completely shocked, I truly didn't see this coming so soon. It took me a minute to realize he was serious! We had only been dating for roughly two months. Overwhelmed with emotions I said yes, yes, yes! He was definitely serious, and WOW so was the ring! As we plan our big day we are ready for the world to " Meet the Millers" at our upcoming wedding.
