We Are getting married

The story on how Jake and I met has to be my favorites, I planned a trip to Florida with one of my bestfriends to visit her mom in West Palm Beach. Little did I know that this trip would change my life forever.... My friend and I went out the first night to downtown area in WPB, we walked into a bar because we heard the music down the block and they had great music playing. We wanted to place ourselves in the corner so that no one bothered us... Little did I know this corner was where "Jake's seats" were. One of his friends had bought Sara and I a shot and of course I didn't finish mine naturally Jake called me out and said how rude it is to not finish a shot that someone bought me. Full disclosure the shots in that area are like drinks over here in New Jersey. haha! After that night we ended up doing long distance for about a year and half and finally Jake moved to New Jersey and the rest is history <3

Since Jake has moved to NJ one of our favorite things to do is to see the New York skyline whether it was having ice cream during the day or Dinner at night. Earlier that week Jake had asked if we could go check out Liberty State Park on Saturday because one of his coworkers had suggested this for the skyline views. Somehow my sister Sam came into the plans. Anyone who knows Sam would know why I didn't think twice about this....She goes can you wear something nice I want to do a photoshoot. So naturally I put something nice on because if she didn't say anything I would be in gym clothes. We end up going to Liberty State Park which is absolutely beautiful... until I see there are about 20 Geese just roaming around the area.. Jake mentioned he didn't plan for the Geese. ( if you know me you know I am scared of any type of bird) Him and Sam took me to a different area and we just walked around for a little bit. We ended up walking back to the spot with all the geese but they were gone.... Thank God for Jake's sake haha. At this point Sam is saying to go by the water she wants to take a picture of Jake and I. Jake says I want to do one picture with sunglasses and one without. So we take the first picture no problem before the second picture he goes OMG Britt look at that bird... I looked for a long time apparently cause the next thing I knew Jake was on his knee asking me to marry him.... He goes can you ask those people to take a picture of the three of us and I turned around my parents where walking towards us.. The day did not end there it was just beginning.. We went home and there were a few of my close friends and family at the house <3 Truly one of the most magical days of my life <3
