Patsy Turner aka "Nana"
Grandmother of the Bride
Patsy, aka Nana, is Marque's Grandmother. Marque has been the center of Nana's world sense the day she was born. Nana worked at Ford Motor Company for over 30 years, and then retired to babysit both Marque and her sister Mariah. On most days, Nana can be found drinking a Diet Pepsi, and smoking a Winston. Some special memories they share are Nana teaching Marque to swim, Nana teaching Marque to ride a bike, and of course the MANY Las Vegas trips they have shared (Nana enjoys her Bloody Marys and casinos). Marque would be lost in this world if it wasn't for her Nana, and she loves her more than anything.
Joyce Johnson aka "Uma"
Grandmother of the Groom
Joyce is Greg's Grandmother. She was born in rural Kentucky and moved to Michigan at 16 years old. Joyce worked most of her life in the Finance department at a hospital. Joyce loves to decorate her home for the holidays and participate in various church events. Never far away, she has lived a few miles away since Greg was born. Greg is Joyce's first call whenever anything needs to be done around the house. Growing up, there was never a shortage of candy at her house for her grandchildren. Joyce has been an influence in Greg's life more than she knows.
Rhonda Haynes
Mother of the Bride
Rhonda was born in Monroe, MI and has worked for Ford Motor Company for over 25 years. Rhonda was blessed with her angel in 1991. Marque and Rhonda share many of the same personality characteristics, as well as physical features - such as a nose that can smell things a mile away. They enjoy the funnier things in life, such Kevin Heart and Kat Williams comedy shows. Rhonda is very proud of her daughter and all the obstacles she has overcome in her life. Rhonda and Marque share a special bond that most mothers and daughters could only dream of.
Markus Haynes
Father of the Bride
Markus was born in Toedo, OH and worked at DTE for his whole life. He was the biggest knucklehead the world will ever know. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, doing wheelys on his Ninja, and spending time with the light of his life, his daughter. Marque is definitely a daddy's girl at heart. Sadly, Markus passed away in 2000 in a motorcycle accident at the young age of 29. He is deeply missed by all who knew him. Although it was the toughest thing she has ever gone through, Marque knows she has the best guardian angel anyone could ask for.
Sue Sillence
Mother of the Groom
Sue was born in Ypsilanti, MI and worked in Novi until meeting Dave. Just like Marque and Greg, friends helped Dave overcome his shyness and bring them together. Sue brought Greg into this world in 1988. Greg's personality mirrors Sue's, while his brother Mike's mirrors their father, Dave. Sue's favorite pastime involved making her house resemble Bronners, as closely as possible. She retired in South Lyon, with her two dogs Emma and Zoe. Sue was very proud of her son and all he has accomplished in his life, the most important of which was finding his bride. Sadly, Sue passed away in 2019. She is sincerely missed by all those who knew her. Greg takes comfort in knowing that he and Marque now have the two best guardian angels going forward in life.
Dave Sillence
Father of the Groom
Dave was born in Toledo, OH - in the same hospital as the bride. He grew up next to what would become I-475. He went on to attend college, and attempted to become an engineer, without taking calculus. He graduated from Lawrence Tech and became a P.E. He and his brother, Don, share the same brotherly bond that Mike and Greg share. Dave recently retired to Northport, MI. On most occasions, "Skinny Dave" can be found eating cookies (he was called the cookie monster before there was one), planning his next vacation, or watching formula one racing on TV. He has been known to allow strange dogs to stay "another week or two", for twelve straight years.
Ashley Vasolovski
Matron of Honor
Ashley is Marque's first cousin and they've been close their entire lives, even when thousands of miles kept them a part. Ashley is one of Marque's greatest role models and she looks up to her dearly. Marque and Ashley love to listen to music together and have shared many special moments, whether it be on a beach in Cozumel or on Ashley's living room couch. Marque was Ashley's maid of honor, so of course she returned the favor. Marque adores Ashley very much and is so thankful to have her in her life.
Mike Sillence
Best Man
Mike is Greg's older and much wiser brother. They've known each other all Greg's life, and have shared a brotherly bond since day one. He has degrees from both MSU and FSU. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife. Greg will never forget the time Mike pushed him off his parent's bed and broke his first bone. Mike has the best memory in the family, which Greg can only strive to compete with, failing miserably on things like red wings stats.
Mariah Haynes
Co - Maid of Honor
Mariah is Marque's little sister, who she looks up to both physically and emotionally. They have been inseparable since Mariah was born in 1995. They are 4 years apart, but you could never tell. Mariah is an incredible artist and can play guitar, which Marque attempts to sing along to (poorly). Marque and Mariah are more than sisters, they are best friends. Marque is so proud of the young lady Mariah has become and knows the world has great things in store for her.
Brett Brawner
Groomsman
Brett is Greg's first official friend, growing up just up the street in South Lyon. They met when they were three years old and remain extremely close friends to this day. Some of their favorite activities growing up involved camping up north and swimming in the Greg's pool. Brett installs hardwood flooring for a living, which he enjoys very much. Brett serves as the main connection for the old guard to this day.
Taylor Frederick
Bridesmaid
Taylor is Marque's second cousin and an inspiration to all who meet her. She is a nurse at Beaumont Dearborn. Her occupation fits very well, as she is one of the most caring people you will ever meet. She is always willing to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on. Not to mention, she makes a mean Jack & Coke. Taylor is a recent bride as well, and Marque was part of her bridal party. They have been buddies all their lives and spent most of their childhood jumping on Taylor's trampoline. Fun fact, Taylor is an excellent groundhog wrangler. Marque loves her cousin dearly!
Kent Golightly
Groomsman
Kent and Greg met in third grade, one fateful day when they went to see the movie Flipper together. After that they spent every waking moment together well into college. Kent was on the snowboarding team at MSU. He then went on to law school and find his wife Danielle, with whom he has two beautiful children. Some of Greg's fondest memories with Kent involve a beach in Canada and playing in the woods behind Kent's house as children. Marque and Kent share a deep love for fine artwork, all over their bodies.
Cassy Fuller
Bridesmaid
Cassy and Marque met their freshman year of high school and connected instantly. Their crazy and (most of the time) wild personalities meshed and the rest was history. Their favorite activity by far is attending hockey games, PSAP! They have shared so many moments, and are more like sisters. Cassy has gotten Marque through a lot of hard times and Marque is forever grateful. Even though they have had their ups and downs, their friendship has always remained strong. She is truly one of Marque's most beloved friends.
Jake Frederick
Groomsman
Jake and Greg didn't meet until shortly into Marque and Greg's relationship, but immediately hit it off. Jake works as a gas man at DTE Energy. He LOVES spending time with Taylor's family. Being a new cousin, Jake has had a big influence on Greg in the practices of saying "how much you wanna bet?" and falling asleep early in armchairs during family events. Bower and Odin's relationship has mirrored Jake and Greg's, but with a few extra hot laps around the pool during the summer.
Alexis Howland

Alexis and Marque met in 6th grade at St. Johns Catholic School in Monroe, MI. Alexis has a PhD and is a very accomplished physical therapist. Alexis is free-spirited, an amazing dancer, and one of the most positive people Marque has ever met. She is one of the most independent people Marque knows, and she is forever envious of that. Alexis is not afraid to tell it how it is, which is one of Marque's favorite things about her. From vacations to Vegas, to day drinking in Detroit, Marque is so thankful to have this crazy girl in her life.
Adrian Tucker
Groomsman
Tucker and Greg share a very unusual friendship, separated by over 400 miles, they met playing video games online and have been close friends for almost ten years. Although they have only officially met once, they have shared many nights with endless conversation. As Tucker also works in IT, they share work war stories frequently. Tucker has a pet tortoise, which Marque is very fond of. Tucker has the biggest heart out of all Greg's friends, both emotionally and physically.
Kim Gluck
Bridesmaid
Marque and Kim met in 2017, when Marque joined LLamasoft. After one conversation, they knew that they would be the best of friends. Kim and Marque are two peas in a pod, most days finishing each others sentences upwards of 10 times. Kim is now Marque's boss, as well as her biggest work influence. Not only is Kim a mother to 5 (counting the dogs...and her husband), but she runs the show at LLamasoft Licensing. Kim is one of the people who contributed to Marque and Greg's awkward first encounter, and Marque couldn't be more thankful.
Brandon Van Sickle
Groomsman
Brandon and Greg work together, and became fast friends at the office. Brandon is part of the team that introduced Greg to Marque, and fanned the fire of this relationship since it's inception. Marque and Greg spent their first New Years together with Brandon and his Fiancee Katelyn in Canada - note to those who are potentially thinking of making a similar trip, from Marque's viewpoint, coming back on the bridge while deathly hungover is NOT a good time. Brandon is very sociable and can always pick you up when you're feeling down.
Bianca Iriarte
Bridesmaid
Bianca and Marque met freshman year at Michigan State (GO GREEN!!) when they were paired as suite mates. Almost instantaneously, they were inseparable. To say the least, when Bianca's room was bedbug ridden, Marque and Bianca shared a futon for 6 months. She pairs with Marque like red wine to a fine steak, (which they have enjoyed many times). In college, Marque thoroughly enjoyed out-schooling Bianca in Just Dance, as well as binge watching True Blood. Marque truly cherishes her friendship with Bianca and loves that months can go by but when they talk, it's like only a few days have passed.
Matt Rogers
Groomsman
Matt is Greg's boss, however that line quickly blurred into friendship once they started working together. He hired Greg at the company where he met his future bride. Greg is Matt's go-to for all things work related. Matt also lives a few miles away in Howell, with his wife Nicky and their three children. Some of Greg's fondest memories with Matt are golfing in Howell in the middle of December, as well as their company barbecues at Matt's house. Matt loves golfing and playing video games with his son.
