Doors open at 5 pm- please arrive by 5.15pm at the latest.

No - we recommend people arrive at the venue by public transportation.

How to get around NYC?

Answer

The easiest way is by subway. You can now use contactless payment to enter the subway. It is a fixed fare of $2.75 no matter where you are going (London friends, you only tap in, no need to tap out!).

Will I need cash in NYC or can I get by on card?

Answer

Almost everywhere in NYC is cashless, so you'll be fine with just a card. Singles come in handy to tip your bartenders!

What's the deal with tipping?

Answer

Usually at a restaurant, the norm is to leave 20%. Anything under 18% is seen to be rude. Make sure to check the bill, as some places add tip on automatically. At a bar, the usual is $1 a drink, unless you are feeling generous!
