Leslie and Karen have been best friends for over 15 years. We started our friendship over our love for Hokie football. We have traveled to many different locations for Hokie football. We have been to New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, and Orlando just to name a few. Recently have been to the Bahamas to celebrate Karen's 40th birthday. We also have been to quite a few Caps/Pens hockey games over the years. Leslie has been by Karen's side for the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Karen can't wait for Leslie to stand by her side during this major milestone in her life. Can't imagine this day without her.

Kelly

Kelly and Karen have been good friends since 2009. We met on the softball field playing town league softball while Karen was in Graduate school. Kelly and her kids became Karen's Blacksburg family. Kelly even helped Karen prepare for her Masters defense from Virginia Tech in 2010. Between football games, softball games, concerts and cruises over the years a lot of memories have been made. The friendship we have formed over the years is unbreakable. Beyond grateful for having Kelly stand by Karen's side on this milestone occasion.

Amanda

Amanda and Karen met at Burn Bootcamp a few years ago. We have grown exceptionally close over the past few years and it made getting up at 515am every morning to drive over to Newport News worth it. Sometimes we would talk and laugh more than work out that early. There was never a dull moment during our workouts. Amanda has been there during some of the most difficult times and has been a great support system during some of the hardest seasons but also one of the biggest cheerleaders during the amazing seasons. Amanda, Jenn, and Karen are one hectic of a tribe. Beyond grateful for the friendship and that Amanda will be standing up there during this special occasion.

Jenn and Karen met a few years ago at Burn Bootcamp in Newport News. We became fast friends and partners in crime. Jenn welcomed Karen into their 545pm camp family. Jenn has been there throughout some of the lowest of lows and highest of highs. We have been teammates and training partners for gym competitions. We have spent countless hours and miles walking the Noland Trail, Sunday fundays, dinners, breakfast post camp, and shopping trips. We are usually laughing non-stop when we are together. Jenn, Amanda, and Karen have been a tribe since day one and Karen is so happy to have Jenn standing with her during this momentous occasion.

Annabelle

Annabelle is Mark's oldest daughter and Karen and Annabelle have been attached since day one. Annabelle first told Mark that Karen was going to be her new bestie prior to meeting Karen. Needless to say the rest is history!

Lorelai

Mark's youngest daughter and the free spirited one of the family. Karen and Lorelai have been very close since day one. Excited to take this next step as a family.

Chad

Best Man

Chad is Marks older brother. They have been together through thick and thin and never wavered once in their bond. From hunting to paintball and airsoft to vacations football games and video games Chad has always been there. Even at the soccer field reminding Mark that yellow cards are just warnings.

Cory and Mark hit it off quickly as good friends making trips to Blacksburg easy and beach trips fun. From late night discussions to phone calls just to say hi the future is bright, and the present is the best part of the day.

Matt and Mark first met at onboarding at the shipyard. Quickly the two decided they were meant to be not just best friends but brothers. discovering they went to VT together and graduated engineering together and ran the same circles in high school discovering the mutual friend of Sammi Jo. The rest is history

Chris and Mark met in high school fell out of touch through college and caught back up upon exiting college. Chris quickly became a close friend and many memories around bon fires, food, truck pulls, and drag tracks occurred and continue still today.

Ricky and Mark met thru high school but really didnt become good friends until after college. bonds over cars and Marks two children whom are also Rickys nieces keep the two of them connected and friendship strong.
