FAQs

Question

What is the wedding attire / dress code?

Answer

Attire is Black Tie Preferred. Please dress for a formal evening event. If you have a tuxedo or floor-length gown, we'd love to see it. A dark (preferably black) suit and tie or ankle-length dresses are acceptable.

Question

Are my kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

This party is just for the grown-ups! Thank you for making childcare arrangements in advance so you can celebrate with us.

Question

I'm flying in - do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Not unless you want to do some exploring further away while you are here. There are plenty of taxis, Lyfts or Ubers from the airport to Jersey City. Ubers and Lyfts are available in Jersey City too, but you may need to wait a few extra minutes to get a car.

Question

Is there transportation between the hotels and the venue?

Answer

We're working on it! Check back for more information closer to our wedding date.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at Liberty House by 5:45 PM to find your seat. Feel free to arrive early to enjoy the beautiful view. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 6 PM.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue.

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction - can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! The venue can accommodate most dietary restrictions day-of. Whether you have allergies, are vegetarian, gluten-free, or have other restrictions, just let your server know and they’ll take care of you! Please reach out to Marni or Mike directly if you have questions and want to confirm your specific dietary restrictions.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Check out our Registry tab! We have registered at Bloomingdales, Crate & Barrel, Amazon, and Zola.

Question

I'm not staying at the hotel block. How should I get to the venue?

Answer

Please plan to take an Uber or Lyft. Search “Liberty House Restaurant” in your navigation app — the drop-off area is clear and accessible.
