Sousa Beach
This is one of the couples favorite spot. The beach has restaurants and bars that cater to local and international tourists, and the views of blue ocean against golden sand and blue sky. Sosua beach can be a great experience for parents with children, and the mile long beach ensures everyone have their quiet or noisy spot anytime. The busier days are Sundays when locals visit the beach, but there`s two sides and one is the quieter zone by El Batey, and the noisier one by Charamicos where local music is played by visitors in a friendly latino atmosphere.
Playa Cabarete
The beach is surrounded by multiple hotels, restaurants and bars where you can enjoy the Dominican customs and culture, you can drink a refreshing cocktail or try its typical delicacies, such as “mangú” or “sancocho”. Cabarete Beach is a lively place where you can meet the locals and enjoy the Dominican nature and customs.
Equestrian Center at Sea Horse Ranch
Gabriela Loves Horses and this is why Sea Horse Ranch is usually a mandatory stop when the couple is in DR. The Facilities include: Over 25 individual stables Large fields and paddocks for the outside horses to graze Storage in the livery tack room Outdoor and indoor riding arena, show jumps, and obstacle course Full time experienced grooms Whether you choose livery only, a relaxed ride to the Beach, lessons from some of the best instructors on the north coast, Sea Horse Ranch can offer it all. Prices Tours : 1 and a half hour – $35 USD per person 3 hours – $60 USD per person – please note as of March 2019 we are not conducting the 3-hour tours until further notice. Lessons: 1 hour group lesson : $600 Rds (approx. $13 USD) per person 1 hour private lesson : $40 USD per person, up to 2 person Half hour private : $20 USD per person, up to 2 person / children up to 12 : $500 Rds (approx. $10 USD) Pony rides for the little ones : $250 Rds (approx. $5 USD) for a half hour
