This very scenic tour that takes your over several mountain ranges and into the deep jungle providing you with amazing ocean & valley views, stream crossings, coffee & banana plantations. We will continue on through a small village and pass through several farms on your way to the San Luis waterfall. This waterfall is one of the tallest in Costa Rica and often the top cannot be seen as it is in the clouds. As you continue on our loop through the rainforest, you will stop for some fresh local fruit and a refreshing swim at another waterfall before heading back to base.
There are 9 cables, 11 platforms, 2 rapelling stations, 2 suspension bridge, and an amazing "tarzan" swing for the truly adventurous.
You will enjoy hiking, birdwatching or horse backriding on the reserve’s trails, admiring the tropical rainforest and mangroves, riding horses just for pleasure, and visiting the Ballena Marine National Park, which is to be found adjacent to the refuge. Hide
The Nauyaca Waterfalls are located in a canyon approximately eighty meters wide. One of the falls is forty-five meters high in free fall and the other twenty meters high in stepped fall, forming at the foot of it, a pool of a thousand square meters and six meters deep. Then there are other natural pools of smaller size, which can be used for the enjoyment of the whole family. You can hike, horseback ride or take a 4x4 ride to the waterfall
