Amy and Dan met on Bumble, proving that sometimes the apps actually work. Before their first date, Amy was convinced Dan was going to be painfully quiet because his texting style could best be described as “minimalist.” Instead, the two spent hours talking over coffee in Tempe, and from that point on, everything felt surprisingly easy. Over the past three years, they’ve learned they’re opposites in the best possible way. Dan is spontaneous, adventurous, and always ready to book the trip. Amy prefers a well-thought-out plan and occasionally needs convincing to leave the house. Somehow, it works perfectly. Together they’ve traveled, gone kayaking and white water rafting, played pickleball, watched countless movies, and built a relationship filled with laughter and balance. In 2025, Dan planned a surprise proposal in Nice, France during a Mediterranean cruise. Despite a rainy day along the French Riviera, the weather cleared at exactly the right moment at Fouilles Archéologiques overlooking the coast — just long enough for a proposal, photos, and a mad dash back to the train station. They chose a New Year’s Eve wedding because it felt festive, exciting, and like the perfect way to celebrate with everyone they love.
