Completing the Koko Head hike is a rite of passage for anyone that comes to visit the Au-Yeung's on Oahu. It is a grueling 1,000 ft of climbing in 3/4 of a mile. Be sure to do it early to beat the heat and then jump in the water on the way back to town!
Great first stop on a North Shore tour. We like to go here at the beginning of a North Shore day to get fueled for the trip. Marley loves their juices and Noah likes their breakfast burritos. This spot does a good job of keeping the food simple and letting fresh ingredients do the talking.
Bishop Museum is named for Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop (1831-1884), great-granddaughter of Kamehameha I. She was the last descendant of the royal Kamehameha family. The permanent exhibits take you on a journey through the history of Hawai’i, including Polynesian migrations and wayfinding, cultural beliefs and traditions, daily life in ancient Hawaii, important historical events, and much more. It's a wonderful place for both adults and children!
