We’re getting married!

We began dating in high school when we were both 16 years old. After two years of dating, we went our separate ways during our freshman year of college. Four years later, we ran into each other and made light conversation. Then, we decided to meet for coffee to get a full catch up of the time we had missed, and it was as if we never stopped talking. Everything clicked. We’ve been together ever since.

On the anniversary of running into eachother we had plans to go look at Christmas lights. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I had been bugging Chantz for weeks about looking at lights, and that day he promised me we would go. We spent the day going to lunch and running errands like we would any other day. That evening he took me downtown to walk around and look at the lights. We walked for a little while then we stopped in the same spot we had run into each other a year ago. We talked for a moment about our journey and everything we'd been through then Chantz dropped to one knee. I was in shock, screamed "YES!" and we were engaged. We are so excited about this next chapter in our lives, and are looking forward to sharing this special day with you!
