This is an outdoor event so please dress accordingly. Make sure you'll be comfortable and, if you plan on staying late, bring something to keep you warm. Dress formal or like you just crawled out of a dumpster-however you're feeling! Our only request is that you keep it decent :)
4:30 pm - 4:45 pm
"The sharing of the bread, salt and wine is an old Polish tradition. At the wedding reception, the parents of the bride and groom, greet the newly married couple with bread, which is lightly sprinkled with salt and a goblet of wine. With the bread, the parents are hoping that their children will never hunger or be in need. With the salt, they are reminding the couple that their life may be difficult at times, and they must learn to cope with life's struggles. With the wine, they are hoping that the couple will never thirst and wish that they have a life of good health, and good cheer and share the company of many good friends." Since we aren't having alcohol at our wedding, the wine/vodka will be replaced with another special drink. After the blessing, the bride and groom symbolically smash glasses to symbolize good luck.

We will be taking some time after our reception to hang out and roast marshmallows by a campfire. If you would like to leave after the reception, there will be no hard feelings; however, we hope you'll be able to stay and let loose with us afterwards! We do ask that everyone leave promptly at 9 pm, as we do have a baby and will definitely be tuckered out and need to decompress and enjoy the rest of the night together privately as a family.
