FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome! Please let us know if you will be bringing a young person with you :)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

In lieu of gifts, we ask that you consider donating to funds for our mortgage or honeymoon. Links and information for each of these can be found in the "registry" tab of our website. We also love native wildflower seed, candles, and things for gardening, fly fishing, and playing outside. No gifts required - do whatever feels best for you! <3

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony there will be limited parking available at mount tabor. For the reception, the venue is the garden of Marley's childhood home, and parking is available on the street only. Please note that for both venues, due to limited space, it may be necessary to park a few blocks away and walk.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transportation to and from the ceremony. We recommend you use trimet, call a cab, bike, scooter, skateboard, or walk if you are able. That way you can join us for a parade from the ceremony to the reception!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress-code for the event. Please keep in mind that the ground is a combination of grass and woodchips (maybe leave the stilettos at home).

Question

A parade - how will that work?

Answer

We will be marching from the mount tabor amphitheater to the reception venue. We strongly encourage that you arrive to the ceremony by foot, bus, bicycle, cab, scooter, etc! Comfortable footwear also encouraged :)

Question

Can I drop my potluck dish off beforehand so that I can join the parade?

Answer

Yes!! We are asking that everybody drop their potluck dish off at the reception venue before heading up to mt tabor for the ceremony. There will be a large refrigerated trailer in the driveway for potluck dishes to live in until it is dinner time :)

For all the days along the way
