The church guidelines can be found here. https://materdeiparish.com/about/ Both men and women – All dress should be clean and neat according to one’s means, and modest. Casual clothes should be avoided as regular Mass attire (shorts, athletic shoes, etc.). Men – Either a button down shirt or a pullover shirt with a collar, and neat and clean pants; Men should consider wearing a tie to Church and in cooler weather, a suit coat. Women – Clothes that are not tight-fitting. No see-through or revealing material such as sheer fabric or lace as the only layer (except for head coverings of course). Modest necklines (no low-cut, plunging or deep-scoop). Shoulders covered with at least 1/4 length sleeves. Skirts should cover the knee when seated; no slit above the knee. Veiling is welcomed and appreciated – 1 Corinthians 11:2-16" We would stress that the reception should be considered similar to the church, the only difference being veils are not required and hats may be worn.
We will be having a professional photographer at the wedding and reception, these will be shared with everyone in the following weeks so everyone will be able to remember the event. We will have a go pro that anyone can use to film during the reception and we will be cutting this into a video that will be shared after. Please try to enjoy the events and "live in the moment" and we will try and take care that we all have photos to remember it by.
