The Beach! Its not great for swimming, and generally foggy, but bring a jacket and you get a good walk in and can spot snowy plovers, surfers, dog walkers, and great sunsets!
If you're sticking around for a while and looking to explore, this is a great option! You can drive along the 1 to get great views of the coast. Easily rent a kayak and mooch around the Monterey bay which is littered with sea otters, seals, and shore birds!
There is a location of this worker-owned bakery on 9th and Irving (right next to golden gate park and nestled in amongst bars, restaurants and shops). There is another location on Valencia St. (in The Mission District and part of a long strip of more bars, restaurants and shops)
