Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you know, our wedding was planned to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We were married on May 25th, 2024 due to Marlena’s pressing need for vision insurance and the lack of coverage under her doctoral student care. Coincidentally, the vision insurance led to her diagnosis of idiopathic intracranial hypertension, a rare brain disorder, in July 2024. In October, she was diagnosed with superior canal dehiscence syndrome, a rare ear disorder. We hoped that with her lifestyle changes (many of you follow her hilarious cooking escapades on Instagram) and medication management, things would begin to trend positively. However due to some uncertainties with her health right now, we will be postponing the wedding ceremony to a later date. We thank you all for your prayers and well wishes and look forward to our future celebration.
