We shared a first day at working for the Commission (MNCPPC)! We both worked at the same location in the garage 😁🔧

This was the first day Ben asked me to be his girlfriend. My exact response? “Nice weather we’ve been having lately.” 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was not quite sure I was ready for a relationship. ☹️

Upon some reflection, I decided that I wanted to give us a shot, so I told Ben to “ask me again,” and this time I said yes!

Our first lease together started in August of 2018! We had a little house surrounded by woods in Salisbury. There were a lot of bugs ☹️ but it was a fantastic place to start out!

We adopted our cute Blazey boy 🐾❤️

Okay so TECHNICALLY it was after midnight, but we’re going to keep saying it was the 25th (so it wasn’t on my birthday!). He proposed at a bonfire with some of our good friends around! It was simple and perfect, and the night was super fun!

I picked out the PERFECT wedding dress while surrounded by some of my awesome bridal party, both my grandmothers, my future mother in law, and (of course) my mom! 👰🏼

Because of the COVID-19 virus, we had to reschedule our larger ceremony and reception, but that didn't stop us! We are still getting married, with a small ceremony, on May 30, 2020. Our formal ceremony and reception has been postponed until May 22, 2021.
