FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

This may be a backyard wedding, but we ask guests to join us in bringing the elegance! Please dress in Garden Formal attire. Ladies may wear a formal spring gown, while gentlemen may wear a suit & tie. Note: Guests may want to consider shoes that handle well walking on grass.

Question

What time should I/my party arrive?

Answer

To ensure enough time for our parking attendants to park everyone and for guests to make their way to the ceremony spot, we encourage guests to arrive at the Melbert Home at 3:30 pm. The ceremony will start at 4:00 pm.

Question

What will parking be like?

Answer

Our wonderful neighbors have graciously opened their property for parking. Space is limited, so we strongly (and kindly) request guests to carpool. There may be a short stroll to the ceremony, but nothing more than a couple minutes.

Question

What kind of refreshments will be served?

Answer

A delicious dinner will be served, with thoughtful accommodations for dietary restrictions — including gluten-free and dairy-free options. Please just let us know your needs when you RSVP! We’ll also be celebrating with a bar featuring signature cocktails and a variety of other drink options. Cheers!

Question

Can I bring a plus one/my kids?

Answer

Due to the limited space of the Melbert family backyard, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding and celebrating with us!

Question

How can I help or bring a gift?

Answer

Your love and presence are truly the greatest gifts to us! For those who wish to give a physical gift, our registry can be found at the "Registry" tab on our website. Since we are building our home together in Oregon, we kindly ask that all gifts are shipped to the address: 11627 SW Teal Blvd #27F, Beaverton, OR 97007.
