Marlee and Peyton went to high school together but never actually talked to each other. Marlee's dad and Peyton's step-dad do business together and always talked about them being together. One day, Peyton finally reached out to Marlee and asked her out. They spent the entire weekend on Center Hill Lake and Marlee knew that weekend that she was going to marry him one day. Peyton called his best friend after the long weekend and told him, "I think I might be in love with this girl." They have not spent a day apart since that weekend.
