The Charles River is one of our favorite places to walk around in Boston. Usually sail boats and rowing fleets speckle the waters from April-November so keep an eye out. The esplanade trail will bring you along the water all the way from the world renowned Massachusetts General Hospital to Boston University. Definitely take the time to head a few blocks over to Tremont street where the historic brownstones are picturesque or make a stop at Fenway Park to see the oldest baseball stadium in the United States!
If you want the best views of the Boston skyline then head on over to Seaport. Boston has so many different 'boroughs' with their own character and Seaport is very up and coming with lots of shopping and beautiful water views. If you head towards the Fan Pier Plaza you'll get to see the entirety of the Boston Harbor.
Ahhhh to be smahhhht. Harvard is the oldest university in the United States, founded in 1636! The campus is very historic and stretches over the Charles River. Harvard Square is where we spent a lot of time our first year and a must see.
When in Rome! This is truly the best Italian restaurant in Boston and many of our guests have agreed! Jack and I love getting the lobster ravioli and proscuitto tortellini to split together. If you're going, make sure to invite Julie for a bottle of Tre!
This is hands down the best clam chowder in Boston. If you're looking to kill an hour or two while walking along the freedom trail or exploring the North End, we highly recommend stopping in!
