We’ll be getting married in our backyard at home, so dressy casual is perfect! Think summer dresses, jumpsuits, linen—light and comfortable. Men are not required to wear a tie or jacket. Since it will be early August, please keep the warm weather in mind so you can enjoy the day comfortably.
Our wedding will be held in our backyard, and the entire celebration will take place outdoors! We’ll have tents set up for dining, while dancing will be under the open sky. Outdoor restroom facilities will also be available for your convenience.
Due to limited space, not all guests will be able to bring a plus one. If you’re invited to bring a guest, their details will be included on your invitation and during the RSVP process.
There will be a shuttle bus that does a pick up and drop off at The Forum (Downtown Halifax) and Bayers Lake. Stay tuned for exact timing on those.
Since we will have limited room in our driveway, please park on our court or street and walk down our driveway. No need to register your car.
Yes, kids are welcome for the ceremony and dinner if we have included their name on the invitation but please arrange for them to leave for the dancing portion of the evening.
