FAQs

Question

What are the best carriers for direct flights?

Answer

Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Southwest Airlines

Question

Where do we fly in to?

Answer

Lihue, HI (airport code LIH)

Question

Best tips ways to save on airfare?

Answer

Buy your airfare sooner rather than later, buy tickets on a Tuesday, use airline miles combined with money, sign up for your choice of airline’s emails- they will tell you about sales! Southwest’s sales typically happen a few times a month!

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

No, you will just need your ID or possibly a REAL ID, if it’s required by then for travel.

Question

Can I just be there for the wedding and then go home the next day?

Answer

Of course! Stay as little or as long as you would like! I will be there along with Tim and some of my family and friends from May 8-15; but please don’t feel obligated to stay that long💕 FYI: We used Kauaivacationrentals.com and https://www.purekauai.com to find our rentals at the best price!

Question

Can I stay/split costs with other people/couples that are staying longer and renting a house?

Answer

Absolutely! Let us know how long you’re staying for and we can collaborate and put a group together with other people who are staying longer as well! Please let us know sooner rather than later so everyone involved can get an idea of budget and prices!

Question

Where do I stay?

Answer

Under the “Travel Lodging” tab on the homepage, I have added a couple links and information for a few rental properties that offer a couple different sleeping arrangements and price ranges for people to stay at. They are all 15 minutes or less away from the wedding venue for your convenience. You are more than welcome to research other places to stay too! There are great, affordable hotels, condos and apartment rentals in the nearby towns of Kapaa and Princeville; both of which are still close to the venue.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Be as dressy or not so dressy as you would like- I’d recommend Cocktail Attire. It will likely be in the 70’s when we are there, and most of the time we will be outside, so just make sure that you are comfortable. Maybe bring a light jacket for the evening.

Question

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Light pink, gold and iridescent

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Zola (this website), The Knot, Target, and Amazon. P.s. - both Zola and the Knot offer a collection of gifts from many different companies’ registries.
