Our initial interaction wasn’t good at all. He had walked into my office to take care of some business, and I told him that he didn’t have the correct documents. From me telling him that he did not have the correct documents, he thought I was rude, and I honestly thought he was rude too. Before he left, for some reason, I was led to give him my church's address, but he threw it in the trash. Then one Sunday, I saw him walk into my church. My first thought was that he came because I had given him the address, but just so happened, a mutual friend of ours had also given him the same church address to visit. Ever since that Sunday at church.......I’ve been hanging with Coop.
On Friday, February 6, 2026, we were headed to our favorite hibachi restaurant for what I thought was just a normal dinner date. But as soon as we walked in, I saw our family and friends lined up along both sides of the walkway leading into the restaurant. Before I could fully process what was happening, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I gladly said yes! We celebrated the rest of the evening, enjoying a hibachi dinner with our family and friends.
