We met some time in 2014 through family friends. I remember thinking he was cute and quiet haha. But he lived in California so I never thought much past it. When he come to visit throughout the years I always had this feeling he may have liked me. Whether he would stutter a lot while talking to me. I think once he bipassed everyone at the party when showing up to come talk to me and I thought in my head how odd that was. Markus wanted to talk to me but didnt know how he's told me. So he asked our family friend Auntie Velle what he should do. And she told him to start with Hello haha. But she also told him "what do you have to lose? The worse thing she can say is no." So on Nov. 1st he text me out of the blue letting me know he was thinking about me. And he hoped I was doing well. It sparked a conversation that we'd hope would never end. We both loved superheros, except root for opposite sidds. We're wine lovers, movie buffs, love cooking,etc. Markus had already decided to move to WA in 2 months so it was meant to be in our eyes. In the early weeks of December he drove up to Oregon a day early to surprise me at work with my favorite coffee and a bouquet of flowers.  A couple months later and I decided to fully introduce Markus into Kyannas life. From day 1, Markus has never been afraid to be in our lives. As hectic as it may be he completes it. We are so blessed to now have each other forever ♡

I had planned a surprise party but made it seem like it was a hangout between the family like usual. I had her believing I was at work the whole day. The family and I came together and helped with painting letters, hanging lights, getting food ,etc. We actually showed up late to the party because her girlfriend was in town. When the time came, we went outside to sit by the fire at our Aunt and Uncle's. They got Peyton to sit down and then slowly rolled up the the outdoor screens. There I was standing next to the fence standing next to the letters spelling out "Will you marry me". It was an amazing experience to share together and I can't wait to officially start our lives together ♡
