Yes, this venue is located in the heart of the old city smack in the center of a residential area, so there is street parking available. There are also several pay-to-stay lots within walking distance/Uber distance from the venue in Downtown Lancaster.
Yup, that's the spot! We are getting married in a historic girls' school that was built by Thaddeus Stevens, the abolitionist member of the United States House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. The bottom floors have been flipped into apartments, but the original ballroom/auditorium on the top floor has been restored and is now a wedding and event space. When you arrive, you will walk past a few residences, but once you get on the elevator, you'll be headed straight up to our space!
Great question! This is a spacious, white ballroom with original floors and floor-to-ceiling windows, so we are recommending Cocktail attire: little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, dark suits, & dark jeans. But we're actually just glad you're coming to celebrate with us, so feel free to wear whatever you would like!
