Hotel
To make your travel planning easier, we’ve reserved a block of rooms at a special rate for our guests. Please click the link below to book your room within our wedding block. We kindly encourage you to book as soon as possible—rooms are limited, and the sooner they fill up, the better chance we have of securing more for everyone. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Aruba! This hotel is where the wedding will take place. The room block begins at $359/night. Please notify either Hailey or Travis if you are unable to find this rate for the whole time you are there. It is likely that it filled up and we need to request more rooms added. The room block ends on August 25, 2025.

Flight
For Dallas/Fort Worth area travelers, the best flight is out of DFW on American Airlines. Flight AA 3290 leaving at 7:07 am with a layover in MIA then flight AA 1028 MIA to AUA landing at 3:45 pm. There is also an option out of DAL on Delta with a layover in ATL. For Michigan Travelers, the best flights are out of GRR or DTW.
Travel Note
Before traveling to Aruba, all visitors are required to complete the Aruba ED (Embarkation/Disembarkation) card. This is an online customs and immigration form that must be filled out within 7 days prior to your arrival. To ensure a smooth travel experience, it’s important to complete this step before you get to the airport. The process is quick and simple—you’ll need to upload your passport information, confirm your travel details, and answer a few health-related questions. Once completed, you’ll receive confirmation to show at the airport upon arrival. Don’t forget this mandatory step!
Travel Note
For our guests’ convenience, taxis are the best way to get around. They’re easily accessible, safe, and an affordable option for transportation. There’s no need to book transportation from the airport to the hotel—simply head to the taxi line when you exit the airport. The drive from Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) to the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is approximately 20 minutes, and taxi fare is about $31. Please note that taxis in Aruba are cash-only, so be sure to have cash on hand. Unless you’re planning to explore the island extensively, there’s no need to rent a car. There will be transportation to and from the rehearsal dinner. We hope this makes your stay more enjoyable!
Travel Note
For a relaxing day by the beach, the Aruba Marriott Resort offers beautiful palapas (beach huts) that you can reserve. Palapas provide shade and a prime spot to enjoy the stunning white sand and turquoise waters. Reservations can be made online up to a day in advance for $30, morning of for free, or in person at the beach hut each morning. If you want a specific location, we recommend booking early as they are popular and tend to fill up quickly. I’ll share more details, including the booking link and reservation times, closer to the date to make it easy for you to plan your perfect beach day!
Travel Note
One unique feature of traveling from Aruba to the United States is that U.S. Customs and Border Protection is located directly in the Aruba airport. This means you’ll clear customs before boarding your return flight, rather than after landing in the U.S. We strongly recommend arriving at the airport at least 3.5 hours (I recommend 4) before your departure, as wait times for customs can be very long, especially during peak travel periods. If you have Global Entry, the process can be expedited significantly, saving you time
