Our story began a few years before we started dating. Ryan's cousin, and Jessica's best friend (who's name is also Jessica), tried to set us up 2 years prior to our first date. She even tried to tell Jessica that Ryan was her person but neither of us listened. 2 years later, we went on a double date and have pretty inseparable since. I guess we should've listened years prior. Now here we are, years down the line, ready to say "I do." We love to spend our time watching movies, hanging out with our friends who have become our chosen family, traveling, and spending time with our fur baby Frank. We found a common love in spending time off-roading, whether that be on trails or Silver Lake. Silver Lake has always been a special place to both of us. Jess grew up spending just about every summer up there with her family. Silver Lake is the first place Jess drove her dad's lifted excursion (and the first time she ever drove a car) and has been in love with the city since her first ever camping trip there. Ryan and his friends have spent plenty of weekends out on the dunes in their jeeps. Now, it has become an extra special place - it was the spot we got engaged. Ryan proposed under the fireworks while out on the sand dunes for the 4th of July.
