Question

Will there be Covid-19 precautions in place at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We request that all guests who are eligible to be vaccinated, be fully vaccinated when they arrive at our wedding. This is out of respect for our young family members who cannot be vaccinated, as well as our vendors whose livelihood depends on events such as ours. We understand some of our guests have made the choice to not get vaccinated. If you have made that choice, we ask that you celebrate our marriage from afar. We intend to set up a link to allow guests to stream our wedding ceremony online. We will make masks available to guests who are more comfortable wearing a mask in a public, indoor environment. We continue to monitor the situation related to Covid-19 and encourage you to check here frequently for updates. The safety of our guests, especially young family members who cannot be vaccinated, is a top priority for our wedding day.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your invitation says "Family", then yes, please bring the kids. If not, we hope you can make it a date night.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer it just be you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. We are getting married in a church so be respectful of the setting.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 p.m. Please arrive early enough to find parking and get seated before the ceremony begins.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is street parking around the church and a public metered lot about a block away. Parking on the east side of Milwaukee can be tricky, especially for those unaccustomed to parallel parking. Please give yourself time to find a parking spot before the ceremony begins. There is a parking lot next to the Milwaukee Public Market that is available to reception guests at no charge.
