It all started with some trash-talk over a game of giant Jenga on April 1, 2017 (when is someone going to say "April Fools"?) At the end of the night, Ashley gave her number to a girl named Stacy in case her and Adam's volleyball team ever needed a sub. Little did she know, it was Adam's phone that was slid across the table. Their first two dates were very casual, taking place at a local pub with Ashley in exercise clothes. With the second date ending in a side hug, Ashley thought Adam was putting himself in the friend zone. However, as soon as Ashley got up to her apartment to tell her roommate about another failed date, her phone buzzed. "So when can I take you on a proper date?" Ashley was hesitant but figured she may as well keep him around until summer because he had a boat! Something was different on that third date to an improv show at Whole World Theatre. Sparks flew, and they became boyfriend and girlfriend on May 21, 2017. A few camping trips and boat rides later, they bought a condo together in February 2019. Along came their fur baby, Roan, in October 2019, and then, Trick or Treat, the proposal arrived on October 31, 2020. Thank God for that boat.
