I was walking out of church one day and LaDamien asked if I needed help. My reply to him was, "I think I got it". Months later he seen me walking into Target. A "Voice" told him to go get his woman. He approached me by messing up my first name. Of course, I corrected him. He apologized and then we exchanged numbers. He was impressed by my ability of being a go-getter. And that made him fall for me even harder. Since then everything is history. We fell in love instantly and throughout the years our love for each other has continued to grow! LaDamien is my best friend, my confidante, and heaven sent. We couldn't fathom what life would be like without one another. We can't wait for this exciting chapter to begin! #MackneticAttraction

We were headed out the house for our dinner reservations (the day before my birthday) when LaDamien grabbed my arm and pulled me in the living room. Me being me and not knowing, I asked him, "what are you doing? Didn't you say we are going to be late?" He surprised me by getting on one knee and proposing. I was filled with tears of joy and caught by surprise as I said "YES". It was even more heartfelt when he proposed to both of my daughters and gave each of them a ring.
