Traveling to Arkansas from South Louisiana

It is STRONGLY recommended that those traveling from the Lafayette area take i-49 North all the way to Arkansas until you reach i-30 East. This is the easiest and safest mode of travel. DO NOT take the exit in Pineville. It will lead through several small towns, winding roads, hills, and remote locations with no cellular reception. Also, lots and lots of deer if you are traveling at night.
