We're Getting Married!

It seems like forever ago, but many years ago, we both swiped right on the dating app, Bumble. We set a date to meet shortly after in Sacramento at the Red Rabbit Kitchen & Bar. We drank swanky cocktails and talked for hours. It was effortless. Can you believe that Mark talked Susanna's ear off the entire night?! After that night, the rest was history. It was love at first swipe!

Mark and Susanna were visiting friends in San Diego for the weekend to celebrate a good friend's 30th birthday. On Sunday morning, Mark, Susanna, and three of Susanna's best friends, Danielle, Monica, and Rebecca, embarked on a beautiful Torrey Pines hike. Little did Susanna know, all four of them were in on a BIG surprise. As Mark and Susanna went to take a photo with the beautiful ocean behind them, Mark suddenly dropped to one knee and popped the question! Susanna was in udder shock for about 15 minutes until she finally realized it was REAL and pure happiness set in! They then went to facetime Susanna's mom who was so ecstatic and yelled, "I knew you could do it, Mark!" Afterwards, Mark planned a celebratory dinner at the Poseidon Restaurant in Del Mar, with some of Susanna's closest friends. It was extra special because it was Susanna's dad, Roger's, favorite restaurant and they truly felt he was there in spirit celebrating with them.
