When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is 08/01/2021. We would preferably like for you to RSVP online. If you are having trouble with your online reservation please contact Tanikah Harris at (202) 531-6054. Or you can mail your reply before 08/01/2021

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly

What is the earliest time that I can arrive to the venue?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time so we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in the pavilion area of the golf course

Where is the reception taking place?

Answer

The reception will take place inside of the great room

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Black-tie optional so gowns, semi-formal/cocktail attire is suitable. Ladies should wear formal gowns, cocktail dresses, and floor length dresses. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. ***The main colors of the wedding are burgundy, red, blush and champagne colors***

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests can head straight to the patio for cocktail hour where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and beverages. The bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes parking is free. Valet parking is not available

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love our little ones, only children who are apart of the wedding party and immediate and extended families have RSVP's included with their parents. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian//gluten-free/special diet options?

Answer

There will be a cuisine fusion of Asian, Mexican, Caribbean and American foods

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media pages, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #markandsharonsayIdo
