Where do we park for all of the events?

Answer

Please park at the lot between the Cove Point Clubhouse and the Lake. This is roughly across the street from Jim and Jackie's condo. Enter the parking lot at the first right on Tennis Club Place from Lake Shore Drive. From the parking lot walk up Tennis Club Place to the Clubhouse entrance as there is no entrance to the Clubhouse events from the lower(parking lot) level. There are LOTS of deer in the area around the lake and lots of fawns. Please drive carefully on local roads especially at dusk.

How do I get to the lake?

Answer

For lake activities take the crosswalk on Lakeshore Drive from the Clubhouse parking lot and follow the gravel path to the right. Look for a tent at the shore near the third set of docks. Our townhouse is directly up from the third set of docks.

What about safety while swimming?

Answer

There are NO lifeguards at the lake and the shore area is rocky, so please bring water shoes. For safety reasons especially for children, please wear footwear on the docks, no running on the docks, and children should wear life jackets on the docks. We have a supply of kids life jackets that will be down by the tent, but we do not have enough for all kids. Please bring life jackets or swimming aids for your kids!

Things to pack: Water shoes, life jackets or swimmies for kids, beach chairs, towels, and bathing suits!

What do I wear for Saturday night?

Answer

Lakeside Attire: Arrive in your best Lake/Beach casual wear. Sun dresses, shorts, and sandals are great options!
