FAQs

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is very limited parking next to the church. However, Rosensteel Hall is an event venue operated by the Knights of Columbus and located directly across the street from the church, please feel free to park there.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

December 7, 2024

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are delighted to have you join in the celebration of our marriage. Your presence is a blessing that adds to our joy. Since we both have individual established households, we have purposely not populated the registry section of this web site. In lieu of a traditional wedding gift, please consider the following: * A Christmas ornament marking the occasion to help us celebrate future wedding anniversaries at this joyful time of year, * A donation to the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research Foundation (IBCRF), * A donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation. https://www.parkinson.org/ Phone: 1-800-4PD-INFO (473-4636). Address: Parkinson’s Foundation Attn: Donor Services 5757 Waterford District Drive, Suite 310 Miami, FL 33126 Web Form: https://secure3.convio.net/prkorg/site/DocServer/Offline_Donation_Form_General.pdf

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The photographer will be taking pictures at the church prior to the ceremony instead of immediately afterwards, so members of the wedding party and immediate family members of the bride and groom should arrive by 10:00 AM. Guests should plan to arrive and be seated no later than 10:45 AM. Traffic in the Silver Spring area, even on a Saturday morning and especially on the Capital Beltway (I-495) can be especially challenging. Due to the sensitive timing of the ceremony, the doors will be closed at 10:55 AM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. The wedding party will be dressed formally. Guests should be more dressed-up than business attire and less fancy than attending a formal gala.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The luncheon reception will feature an open bar and a preset menu with appetizer, entree, and dessert options. A children’s menu will also be available for guests less than 12-years old. Please alert the bride or groom several days in advance of the event regarding any food allergies or dietary restrictions so they may make appropriate arrangements with the reception venue staff. Unfortunately, for some family members, neither escargot nor cuisses de grenouille will be served.
