Our adventure begins!

08.2015 Walking into work and realizing... great, I'm with the new nurse today. What a drag. Well, this new nurse was Rachel. When I saw her for the first time I thought, wow... I guess this torturous day of admissions and aggressive children can't be so bad. Rachel was no average new nurse, she was fast, very fast, smart, and surprisingly able to have some control over these kids. I knew I had to start making moves; I gave her my number and sadly she appeared less than thrilled. Despite her response I pressed on. I used my strategic people skills to convince three of our supervisors to place me in the unit where she works for the next few weeks. After Rachel made me wait for what seemed like forever, I finally got that first text and the rest is history! -Mark

It happened in the" Land of Maple Syrup", where Mark got down on one knee, in front of one of the seven wonders of the world, "Niagara Falls." I would love to share with you guys what he said while proposing, I was so overwhelmed with my emotions, all I could remember, was seeing him kneeling in front of me with a ring. He was saying something, yet all I could hear was the loud beating of my heart; everything else was a blur. -Rachel We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
