What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Once you receive your invitation, please RSVP by June 20th, 2026.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotels?

Answer

Yes! There will be optional shuttles to and from the hotels and reception venue. See the Shuttles and Hotels page for more information.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the reception is funky summer semi-formal.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be outdoors, in Dan and Jill's backyard. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Question

What should I do if I don't make it into one of the room blocks?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway - they may be able to expand our room block or accommodate you with a room outside the block. If not, we recommend looking into nearby hotels or rentals on websites such as VRBO or Airbnb.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one

Answer

We are not allowing plus-ones at our wedding unless explicitly stated on your invitation.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Yes! There will be rooms available in the house for changing/feeding. We will also have some yard games/toys set up. The house is located in the woods and on a lake, so we recommend keeping an eye on young children.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will be serving a variety of stationary hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening, as well as late-night pizza. Vegan/vegetarian options as well as allergy-friendly options will be available. Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a full bar and a selection of beer and wine.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Answer

Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website.

Is there parking available at the reception venue?

Answer

For those who choose not to utilize the shuttles to and from the hotels, there will be parking available at the reception venue.
