What is the wedding day attire?

Answer

Wedding day attire is Beachy Formal. Men: Please wear a suit; ties are optional. Women: Think long, colorful dresses with light, flowy fabrics that feel beach-appropriate. Parts of the evening will take place on sand and grass, so please choose footwear accordingly (e.g., flats, wedges, or block heels rather than stilettos). We also recommend bringing a light layer for the evening. It gets chilly when the sun sets, and the reception will be entirely outdoors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive at the church by 1:30 PM to allow plenty of time to find your seat and get settled. Please visit the "Schedule" page for the church address.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Our families are growing, and we’re excited to celebrate with the little ones, too. Please refer to your invitation for the names of all guests invited.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at a church in San Diego’s historic Little Italy. Little Italy is charming, but the neighborhood is compact and parking can be limited. Also, the church itself does not offer parking. We kindly ask that you plan to use rideshare or taxi services to arrive at the church. The reception will take place at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. Public parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods; however, spaces are also very limited. We recommend rideshare or taxi services. Answer

We have discounted room rates offered at La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club and at the La Jolla Shores Hotel. Please visit the "Travel" page for additional details and booking links. Alternatively, there are plenty of Airbnbs/VRBOs and other hotels nearby and throughout La Jolla and San Diego. For nearby hotel suggestions, refer to the links on the "Travel" page to reserve rooms at La Jolla Riviera Inn and Hotel La Jolla by Hilton. Additionally, refer to the “View similar hotels” link at the bottom of the “Travel” page to search for other hotels in the surrounding neighborhood.

Which airport is closest to the hotel/venue?

Answer

We recommend flying into San Diego International Airport (SAN), which is about 30 minutes from La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club and La Jolla Shores Hotel.
