It all started in the summer of 2019, when Monica and Mark served a group of high school students to prepare them for a Spiritual Book competition in Philadelphia, that their mutual interest materialized into something more. At that time, Mark tried every tactic, from silly jokes to profound conversations, to get her to smile and show those dimples. Three years filled with fun dates, deep conversations, laughing till our bellies hurt, and cheesy meals flew by. In July of 2022, they had a double date planned in the North End in Boston with her lovely brother and sister-in-law. Before entering the restaurant, Morcos took an ‘urgent work call’ and disappeared into the city with his wife. Mark took Monica to their favorite date spot by the water and popped the question. It was the easiest yes of her life! Our time together has been the best of our lives, and we are so grateful to God first and foremost for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. We’re confident none of this is possible without Him. We are so thankful to our beautiful family for all of their support, prayers, and advice. Lastly, we appreciate all of our amazing friends who have consistently been there for us. We CANNOT WAIT to celebrate our union on May 12, 2024 with you all!
