If you've never been to a Russian party, we need to prepare you for a few important things. 1. Food: there will be a LOT of food. The reason meal preferences are not requested is that there will be endless appetizers and courses to choose from that are served family style. The key is to leave room for the rest. The most important thing to remember is that when you think, "ah this is finally the entree" -- no...there will be multiple more entree-style courses coming. So try what you like! There will be a variety of Meat, Fish and Vegetarian options...and a huge dessert table! 2. Drinks: there will be bottles on the tables (including wine and liquor). There will also be a bar for cocktails. The bottles will stay on the tables all night -- please ensure you have a designated driver or a take a taxi or uber/lyft home.
