The Wedding Website of Mirette Hanna and Mark Morcos
If you are coming from overseas to attend our wedding, firstly, we would like to express our appreciation for the effort you have done to share with us this unforgettable moment in our lives. We thank you and we hope that you enjoy your stay.

Flight

Cairo International Airport

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt, where it all begins. You have made it safe. Cairo Airport is located in Heliopolis, well populated neighborhood and surrounded by many services. Cairo local time is GMT+2. It is autumn in November, a very pleasant weather, you will need a jacket for your evenings and early mornings, and you would want to bring a few winter sweaters just in case.

Hotel

Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences

21 Mohammed Mazhar
Cairo Governorate 11211, Egypt
 +20 2 27370055

For your stay we recommend Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences Hotel for its convenient location and beautiful Nile view. However there are plenty of other great hotels in cairo, you can definitely check them out at www.booking.com and let us know if you have any questions.

Rental Car

Transportation in town

We definitely do not recommend car rental in Cairo. Traffic is heavy most of the day and driving manners are going to be hard for you to accommodate to. We recommend you to Uber your way around. It is reliable, reasonably priced and safe. An alternative is to use one of the city white cabs, which you can easily find all around, but communicating directions in a foreign language might be an issue, also make sure you ask and negotiate the fee before you get in.

Travel Note

Things to do While you are here!

Cairo has so many must-see places and must-do experiences, we will list a few of them and you can contact us for further information :) -Giza pyramids -> around an hour away from downtown depending on traffic -Coptic museum & Islamic museum in Old Cairo. -Salah Eddin Citadel -Egyptian museum (currently in a poor condition because of the moving process, but it's absolutely worth the visit) -The hanging church in Old Cairo -Khan El Khalili & El Moez Street. -Egyptian authentic restaurants: "Tom & Basal" for Koshary, "Antar" for Kebab, "Christo" for seafood, "Café Riche" in downtown, "Mandarine Koueider" in Zamalek Oriental delight, "Felfela" at Hoda Shaarawy street downtown, try out "Mena House Hotel" for their breakfast with its Pyramids view. -For places that serve alcohol: Roof top of Horeyya Hotel in Heliopolis, Le Grillion, Estoril, and most of the hotels' restaurants.
