Rome to Ravello

Ravello is reachable from Rome or Naples. Take high speed rail to Salerno, followed by a ferry to Amalfi, and finally a local taxi or bus to your hotel. Another option is to Take a high speed rail to Salerno and organize a pick with your local wedding planners.

Ravello is a 3.5 hour drive from Rome International Airport and 1 hour from Naples International Airport. Parking is approximately 15 euro a day in Ravello unless your hotel provides. Driving to Ravello can be challenging due to the windy Italian roads and mountain terrain. Non-Italians are required to have an international drivers license which you can easily acquire by following the link (click "view" below). It is rare for police officers to ask for one, but they have the right to ask you for your international license if you are pulled over. Please confirm with us if you will drive so we can secure your parking. Public transportation is also a great option: high speed rail to Salerno, followed by a ferry to Amalfi, and finally a local taxi or bus to your hotel.

Early booking is essential as the location is popular and lodging is very limited. Ravello is perched along the steep edges of the Lattari Mountain.
