Mark is the best! He's hilarious and super smart and incredibly kind & patient. He's annoyingly good at everything he tries, but always downplays his accomplishments. He cooks delicious food and kills all the bugs and balances out my over-analyzing, Type-A nature with his calm, laidback personality. Mark has a passion for learning new things and always has a billion hobbies. He's bowled several 300 games, can solve a Rubix cube blindfolded, and has written flight software for a NASA satellite that is in space. My cats are obsessed with him, which I think proves just how good of a human he is. Mark is my favorite person, he brings out the best in me, and I can't wait to marry him!

Michelle is cool! She's the smartest person I know, is incredibly thoughtful, and a joy to spend time with. She's unendingly adventerous and makes sure our life together will never be boring. Michelle is creative and incredibly talented at whatever she puts her mind to. She's kind, generous, and is an amazing friend who is attentive and listens to others. I'm lucky to have met her and that I get to marry her. I can't wait to start the rest of our lives together!

We live in Norfolk, Virginia with our 3 cats and both work as engineers for NASA. We met through a mutual friend at work and have been dating since October 2015. Mark proposed on December 19, 2020 while visiting family in Cleveland. During the proposal, Mark wove a very elaborate web of lies and somehow managed to surprise Michelle (a very big deal, it’s not easy to do!) with the most magical Christmas evening. We love to travel and are working on visiting every MLB ballpark. National Parks are special to us, we've made a point to visit at least 1 new park every year. Mark even asked Michelle to be his girlfriend in Shenandoah National Park, so getting married in a National Park seemed like a no-brainer for us! We're so excited to celebrate our love with all our favorite people and officially be husband & wife.
