There are a few ways to get to Aberdeen, depending on how adventurous you want to be. The Castle is about 40 minutes south of Aberdeen and once you get to the Castle grounds, the road is single lane. 1. Fly directly to Edinburgh, rent a car and drive the 2 hours north to Drumtochty. There are so many cute towns you can stop at along the way for breaks (Culross, Stirling, Perth, Dundee and more) 2. Fly directly to Edinburgh and take the train to Aberdeen. Then take a taxi to the castle. 3. Fly to Aberdeen International Airport. There is no direct flight so your transfer options are London, Ireland, Edinburgh and Glasgow (probably more if you decide to go to Europe). This is a great option if you plan on visiting other countries prior to the wedding. - From here you can rent a car, or take a taxi to the Castle.

Please do not worry about finding accommodations from November 4th - November 6th. All attending guests have a room reserved for them on the grounds of Drumtochty Castle, no payment necessary.

Flight

Any Airline

Flying into Scotland you have multiple city options, with Aberdeen Airport being the closet to our venue. There is still a 40min drive to the venue from the airport.

Train

ScotRail

ScotRail is another amazing option to get around the country. Taking the train from Edinburgh to Aberdeen is a beautiful ride and another way to see the country. Note - the train station is 40ish mins from the venue so a taxi/car ride is still required.

Travel Note

Passports and UK ETA Required

Make sure you have a valid passport! You will also need a UK ETA to travel to the UK. This can be found online or via the UK ETA app. This has to be done at least three days prior to your trip. If you plan on visiting other countries, check what travel documents you may need.
