We met four years ago on Hinge, a modern push that brought us together after years of almost crossing paths. Funny enough, we actually went to the same high school. He was a senior, she was a freshman, and even though she had been to his house a few times growing up, we had no idea we’d eventually end up together. One swipe turned into a first date, then into years of laughter, routines, and building a life side by side. After three years together, we bought a beautiful home, adopted a few very cute animals, and settled into a life that felt easy and right. At about three and a half years, he proposed at a beautiful farm in Virginia, and we knew it was just the next natural step in a relationship that kept getting better. Now we’re planning a wedding, looking forward to everything ahead, and feeling very grateful that timing (and an app) finally brought us together.
